IAB Tech Lab & MRC Viewability Standard

RIA Network enforces the Media Rating Council (MRC) and Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) standard for display ads:

  • 50% Viewport Rule: At least 50% of the creative's physical surface area must be in the active browser viewport.
  • Continuous Dwell Duration: The creative must stay continuously visible for a minimum of 1.0 second (1,000 milliseconds).
  • Zero Pre-Render Billing: If a visitor scrolls past an ad quickly, switches tabs (document.hidden === true), or leaves before the 1-second dwell threshold, the impression beacon is cancelled and ₹0.00 is billed.

Security & Automated Malware Pipeline

  • VirusTotal Antivirus Pre-Scan: Destination landing pages and creative assets are automatically checked against 70+ threat intelligence engines via the VirusTotal API before approval.
  • SSRF Hardening: Creative destination scanners enforce strict https: protocol validation, block private/loopback IP literals (RFC 1918), and prevent Server-Side Request Forgery.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile Anti-Bot Shield: All registration funnels, wallet recharges, and campaign activations are protected by non-interactive Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA challenges to eliminate automated bot traffic.

Indian Statutory Tax & Financial Compliance

Operated by Psylinks Security Private Limited, RIA Network maintains complete adherence to Indian commercial and taxation statutes:

  • Goods and Services Tax (GST): Tax-compliant B2B invoices generated for all advertiser wallet deposits with verified GSTIN numbers for input tax credit (ITC).
  • Tax Deducted at Source (TDS): Publisher payouts are monitored under Section 194C / Section 194O of the Income Tax Act, with mandatory PAN verification for formal settlement accounting.
  • Double-Entry Ledger Invariance: Money movements are tracked in an append-only, idempotent PostgreSQL ledger (public.ledger) ensuring zero floating-point math errors and complete financial auditability.

Data Protection Compliance (DPDPA & GDPR)

RIA Network is architected from Day 1 to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023) and EU GDPR by utilizing a zero-visitor-data model. Because no visitor personal identifiers, cookies, or profiling data are stored on RIA Network servers, publishers using our tags incur zero privacy liability or cookie consent obligations for their visitors.
